What people say about us

An absolutely stunning place nestled in the forest, with an incredible outlook from every room. We loved our stay at Sarah & Dave’s place and didn’t want to leave. Being a short walk from Whale Bay and Indicators was the reason we chose this accommodation and we weren’t disappointed. The surf pumped for most of the week we were there and I loved being able to suit up in the warmth and stroll down to the points. Not having to find parking or worry about where you’ve hidden the car key whilst surfing is one of life’s little luxuries! As nature lovers we really enjoyed waking up to the view of the bush from the bed and the sound of the birds around us. The stereo and speakers are excellent and it was refreshing listening to music at night sitting in front of the open fire, rather than watching tv. Raglan town is only a short drive away and we were blown away by the number of vegan options in the cafes and restaurants. Dave & Sarah are fantastic hosts. Don’t miss Waireinga Falls, it’s wow!

We have travelled and stayed at many different places on Airbnb around the world. David and Sarah’s place stands with the best of them. In fact, I would say it is the best place we have ever stayed. The space is incredibly designed, beautiful, peaceful and clean. The sliding floor to ceiling windows allow you to create an inside outside space to enjoy the incredible nature that surrounds you. The hanging fireplace, collection of books and vintage stereo set a great mood and you just feel at peace. The bathtub and shower are top notch. Location wise, you can walk to Whale Bay and Indie’s for a surf or to take in the scenery of this very special part of the world. Sarah and David were incredibly kind and always helpful. We absolutely recommend staying at this spot.
